Frequently asked questions
Leased Line FAQs
Essential information to help your team evaluate dedicated business connectivity.
How much does a leased line cost?
Pricing depends on your building location, bandwidth, last-mile availability, contract term and redundancy requirements. Submit your installation address for a site-specific quote; installation charges and taxes should be confirmed in the proposal.
How long does installation take?
The installation schedule is confirmed after the site survey and feasibility assessment. Building access, permissions and last-mile work can affect the activation date.
Can I request static IP addresses and backup connectivity?
Include static IP, VPN, firewall and backup-link requirements in your enquiry. Availability, routing diversity and any additional charges must be confirmed in your proposal.
How is a leased line different from business broadband?
A leased line provides dedicated, symmetric bandwidth for your business. Broadband capacity is generally shared and may offer different upload and download speeds.
What bandwidth options are available?
DVPL can recommend scalable connectivity from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps, subject to location feasibility and your application requirements.
Can DVPL provide redundant connectivity?
Redundant paths and alternate last-mile options can be evaluated for sites that need additional resilience. Availability depends on the location and proposed network design.
How do I check service feasibility?
Submit the installation location or pincode, required bandwidth and your contact details. The enterprise team will assess availability and recommend a suitable solution.
